List your restaurant recommendations here!

There is a wonderful place less than 5 minutes away, down the hill, called Da Ferro. It is the really simple “scruffy” as Lorenzo calls it, trattoria. They specialize in tordelli- a meat stuffed pasta with meat sauce. I have tried to volunteer in the kitchen numerous times. We are friendly with the owners so Lorenzo always asks when I can start work. They always have an excuse- “now it is too busy” then the next time “now it is too slow, wait until it is busy and we need more help” But we know what’s really going on- they don’t want me to get a hold of the recipe! I must say, it is worth protecting, the pasta is delicious!

Hi all, what are some of your favorite things to see and do nearby the villa? I always recommend people visit the port area of Viareggio, which you can see from the villa. There are so many sailboats, superyachts and other vessels of all different sizes. I also like to visit Lucca and take guests on a bicycle trip along the wall surrounding the city. What do you enjoy in the area?

Below is some information on the area that we are located. Generally our guests visit the more well known surrounding areas, but as you can see form this link there is much to see right outside the villa gates!
